I sure hope so because I miss this show in my life. So apprently the plan is to remain the last 5 episodes (remember they only shot 7 before the network pulled the plug and they had only aired two) in the upcoming summer which will be in 2010. There isn’t a plan to renew the series butit may be possible, as per the Facebook page, if the ratings increase during that time then we shall see what they decide to
do.

But for now – let us rejoice that they will air the remaining episodes!

People Pets interviewed Ashley a few months back about her beautiful cat, Oscar!

Ashley Madekwe’s TV series The Beautiful Life may have been canceled, but the actress has all she needs in her own beautiful life thanks to her cat, Oscar. The actress recently spoke to PEOPLEPets.com about her 18-month-old ginger tom, whom she purchased from a pet store in London. He even has a “secret talent” — he talks! Check out the video above to hear Madekwe dish on the “love of [her] life.”

A long while back – I had uploaded a number of Drop Dead Gorgeous screencaps to the gallery from one of Ashley’s UK credits. It’s one of my favorite shows and she was so great as Brogan – we just needed to see more of her. I still have one more episode to add.

Its Official The CW has cancelled The Beautiful Life after two episodes.  Let’s hope they at least air the remaining episodes.

It’s sad because it did in some cases MUCH better than MP but because it’s a reboot (a la 90210 they’ll keep that).  Well here’s hoping much success for our girl Ashley and her co-stars!

Here’s a synopsis of what to expect in episode 3, The Beautiful Lie…

Season 1: “The Beautiful Lie”
SABASTIAN ROCHE (“GENERAL HOSPITAL”) GUEST STARS — Sonja (Mischa Barton) is being hounded by the press about a risqué photo which forces her to consider quitting the modeling business. Aware of the chemistry between Raina (Sara Paxton) and Cole (Nico Tortorella), Claudia (Ell Macpherson) secures a campaign for a major clothing line for the two. Raina struggles with the public image she must maintain with Cole, while her true feelings are for Chris (Ben Hollingsworth). Raina’s family drama finds its way back into her life and she finally faces her father (guest star Sebastian Roche, “General Hospital”). Isaac’s (Corbin Bleu) relationship with Vivienne (guest star Jamie Murray, “Dexter”) is strained when he is surprisingly replaced, by Chris during a photo shoot. Raina’s brother, Alex (guest star Billy Magnussen, “As the World Turns”), lands himself in a bit of trouble with the Russian mob, but Marissa (Ashley Madekwe) comes to his rescue.

It’s shaping up to be yet another good episode!

When I wake up in the morning, I always wash my face with a gel cleanser, either from Dermalogica or Clinique and I always moisturize. I use Oil of Olay as a moisturizer.

I love Thandie Newton. She always looks so fresh faced and her skin looks really pure. Love her.

Can you tell me a little bit more about your character Marissa on The Beautiful Life?
I play Marissa, and she’s very spicy, ambitious, she’s not afraid to say how she feels and go after what she wants.

Season 1: “The Beautiful Aftermath”
NINA GARCIA (“PROJECT RUNWAY”) GUEST STARS — Chris (Ben Hollingsworth) believes his chances at a modeling career are over and prepares to leave New York City until he receives a surprise phone call from Claudia (Elle Macpherson). Claudia informs Raina (Sara Paxton) that she needs to focus more on her career and less on her new relationship with Chris. Isaac (Corbin Bleu) confronts Vivienne (guest star Jamie Murray, “Dexter”) about her behavior towards him at a go-see, and the two end up working out an arrangement that serves both their needs. Marissa (Ashley Madekwe) accuses Sonja (Mischa Barton) of stealing the Versace campaign from her and decides to seek revenge in a very public way, which leads Sonja to Cole (Nico Tortorella) for assistance. Marissa invites Raina’s brother, Alex (guest star Billy Magnussen, “As the World Turns”), to a party hosted by Nina Garcia (“Project Runway”), where more secrets about Raina’s past are revealed.
