Ashley will be coming to BBC3 in mid February in what looks like one hilarious comedy pilot titled, Above Their Station. In the sitcom Ash plays PCSO Kelly! Here’s the details:

Pounding rural Essex’s mean streets, Perry is a maverick. He reckons he’s Vange Police’s most lethal weapon. But he isn’t even a cop. He really, really wants to be, but he isn’t – he’s a Police Community Support Officer… a “Plastic Policeman”.

Perry and his fellow PCSOs Kelly, Len, and Chester are just like real coppers, but without the uniform, the powers, the authority, the money, the respect, or the stick to hit people with.

Perry doesn’t want much in life – just the love of Kelly, who doesn’t really care about him or the job; the respect of sweet but naive Len, who wears his high-visibility jacket with pride, rid of pensioner Chester, who leaves his colostomy bag in all the wrong places, and to defeat Preston, a proper copper with a mean streak.

And running the station, and counting down the days to his impending retirement, Chief Inspector Boone doesn’t care what the PCSOs do as long as they don’t bother him…

“Big, bold and daft, this is a new sitcom with a heart of gold and and a jacket of day-glo yellow.”

So watch it and support our girl and hopefully this will be made into a series!

So sorry, I’ve been meaning to get Ash’s interview for some time now but I’ve been loads busy. This is definitely a must read if you’re wanting to know a lot more about the wonderful and talented, Ashley Madekwe. Plus, more absolutely stunning shots of Ashley!

So we caught up with our lass Miss Ashley Madekwe to chat about her forthcoming role in Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, Yoga and moving to LA. Yes we are super jealous. L bloody A.

It’s been so long and you’re jetting off again! How has your stay in London been?
It’s been great. Centered around the sofa and food with some friends and family time thrown in!

Do you have any favourite hangouts and shops in each city?
In London I tend to eat in Soho house a lot… which is terribly lazy of me. I know the menu off by heart! I love to meet friends in Maison Bertaux for tea and cakes.
In New York I spent lots of time in central park because it was summer and I loved shopping at Jeffery in the meat packing district. I could walk there from my apartment. They have a great selection from all the collections and the staff are always lovely.
In LA I am obsessed with Decades the vintage couture store on Melrose. They also have a store called Decades Two, which has THE best selection of recent second hand designer wear. Lots of it is brand new! Bargains everywhere! If I fancy a night out then I treat myself to dinner at the Château Marmont and drinks at Crown Bar.

What’s your favourite fashion brand at the moment?
I have no brand loyalty and switch it up all the time! Right now I’m lusting after anything by Erdem.

How would you describe your style?
Rocky with a feminine edge.

You were invited to a lot of events after being cast in The Beautiful Life. I know the gifting suites tend to be amazing, what was your favourite gift? What event was it from?
Nintendo gave me a pink DS and I love it! I’m always buying new games for it! My favourite at the moment is a Mario game. The lovely Max Azria also sent me a Herve Leger dress.

So it seems like Showtime was a little off in their premiere date announcement. The premium channel announced that Jan. 25, 2010 would be the premiere date for Season 3 but last night instead we got the one-on-one interview between series star Billie Piper and the real Belle de Jour, Ms. Dr. Brooke Magnanti.

It was a really great special but I was under the impression it would air following the premiere but alas they had it all wrong. So look out for the Season 3 premiere and caps next week!
